The ACRL Framework Sandbox

One of the greatest strengths of the ACRL Information Literacy Framework is its big-picture orientation (Association of College & Research Libraries, 2015, Introduction section).  One of its greatest challenges is its big-picture orientation.  How can the frames play out in the real classroom?  At last the Framework for Information Literacy Sandbox (ACRL, 2016) can help address this question.

I invite you to explore the Sandbox.  Since the Sandbox is new, I also invite you to explore the Plattsburgh Tip Sheet (Heller-Ross, 2004).  The Tip Sheet predates the Framework, yet still contains information literacy assignment ideas
